Set Up Your Foundation

Key Message: Build your technical foundation before taking on any clients. This setup will support your entire agency operation.

Why This Matters

Before you can serve clients, you need the right infrastructure. GoHighLevel will be your command center—it's where you'll manage client accounts, run campaigns, and handle billing. Setting this up correctly from day one saves you countless hours of headaches later.

1GoHighLevel SaaS Pro Account

GoHighLevel is the platform that powers your entire agency. The SaaS Pro plan ($497/month) allows you to create unlimited sub-accounts for your clients and white-label the platform with your own branding.

What you get:

  • • Unlimited client sub-accounts
  • • White-label branding (your logo, your domain)
  • • Rebilling capabilities (charge clients directly)
  • • All marketing tools: funnels, forms, calendars, automations
  • • Facebook ads integration

2Connect Stripe for Rebilling

Stripe integration allows you to automatically charge your clients each month. This is how you'll collect your $997/month payments without manual invoicing.

Setup steps:

  1. Create a Stripe account (if you don't have one)
  2. In GoHighLevel, go to Settings → Payments
  3. Click "Connect Stripe"
  4. Authorize the connection
  5. Set up your rebilling products ($997/month service)
3Domain Configuration

Your agency needs its own domain for professional branding. Instead of "app.gohighlevel.com," your clients will see "app.youragency.com."

Domain setup:

  1. Purchase a domain (Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Cloudflare)
  2. In GoHighLevel, go to Settings → Company → White Label
  3. Add your domain (e.g., app.youragency.com)
  4. Follow DNS configuration instructions
  5. Wait for SSL certificate to activate (15-30 minutes)

Pro Tip: Use Cloudflare for DNS management. It's free and makes domain configuration much easier.

4Create Your First Snapshot

A snapshot is a template of your lead generation system. Once you build it, you can deploy it to any new client in seconds.

What to include in your snapshot:

  • • Lead capture forms
  • • Thank you pages
  • • Email/SMS automation sequences
  • • Calendar booking system
  • • Basic funnel structure

Don't worry about making it perfect. You'll refine this as you work with real clients. The goal is to have a starting point you can customize for each niche.

Next Step

Once your foundation is set up, you're ready to choose your niche. This is where you'll decide which type of local business you want to serve.

"Pick ONE niche and master it. Don't try to serve everyone."
